Meet Karel Vermeulen

Despite exhibing an early entrepreneurial spirit in his various incarnations as a student and pliceman - when he earned money for a deposit on his first car by selling chocoloates and cigarettes - Karel Vereulen (45) says he'd never considered starting his own business. "I didn't even know the word 'entrepreneur', he says. It was this lack of knowledge that became his greatest asset. "When you have no formal training, you have no idea hat ou can do someting he says.
Vermeulen's sex life inspired his greatest success. "I found yself struggeling with the available personal lubricants on the market. They didn't last long and I didn't like them. that was my "lightbulp" moment." He started his skincare and intimate lubrication comany in 2010.
